CORONADO LECTURE SERIES| Montie W. Avery: Storyteller | Forgotten Tales of New Mexico: Homesteads with Dark Histories

CORONADO LECTURE SERIES| Montie W. Avery: Storyteller | Forgotten Tales of New Mexico: Homesteads with Dark Histories In-Person

We are excited to present the New Mexico storyteller, Montie W. Avery, as our next guest speaker for the Coronado Lecture Series. There have been many tales about New Mexico that have disappeared because there was no one to talk about them. Mr. Avery, who used to be an insurance investigator, retired and now uses his skills to gather historical information on New Mexico. He shares these stories on his weekly blog titled “Forgotten Tales.” He has uncovered stories about ancient family feuds, abandoned towns no one knows about, and buried treasure. Please join us in listening to tales of New Mexico’s past.
