Tomas Lozano Presents "El Romancero" Performance at the Black Box Theater at Bernalillo High School
Tomás Lozano is a musician from Spain who is doing a series of performances for us on Ballads from Spain and a lecture on "El Romancero" which is the traditional corpus of ballads from Spain. Tonight will be our 1st performance of the ancient Spanish Ballads at the Black Box Theater located within Bernalillo High School. All age groups are welcome to this event. We encourage Young Adults and their families to join us in learning about these traditional ballads that stem from the Renaissance period and have found their way back to the public through masters like Tomas Lozano. With this program we can teach young adults and their families about the beauty of the Renaissance period and hopefully this will encourage them to join several of our Young Renaissance Scholars classes.
