New Featured Exhibit | Pastel Society of New Mexico | "Celebrating Pastels" In-Person
The Celebration of the art exhibit will be kicked off by the guest of honor, Martha Liebert, at 10 am. She will speak on the the topic of what art means to the community and the state of New Mexico. At 11 am Nicholas Tesluk will give an eye-opening presentiation on “The Magic of Pastels” where we will be able to dive deeper into the medium and how you go from a simple pastel to work of art. At 12 pm we will be honored by Katherine Irish with a real life demontration of art being created in real time. Katherine Irish is one of our nation’s top pastel masters who has received countless accolades and commendations for her beautiful landscapes.
